I have a meaningful card to share today. This card was created for the Paper Crafters Unite Against Racism Instagram Blog Hop that will be taking place at 3pm Eastern Time.
With the recent events around the world, I think it is important to share this with everyone. As Asian myself, I am promoting anti Asian-hate. I have not experienced anything terrible (thank God!). However, I did experience subtle racism a few times in the past. The silence, indifference and ignorance.... may seem trivial, but it really makes a difference to all people.
I chose " We Stand with You" Stamp set from The Stamping Village. It was a joint effort from a few amazing stamp companies who contribute to the designs and productions.
I stamped the the sentiment from We Stand with You and created a white rectangle border. Thanks to the Simple Frame Masking Stencil, it was easy to add shades and stamp.
I then added the focal point- two colored hands forming a heart. This stamp /die/stencil from Altenew's A Little Bit of Love" gave this card the "soul"!
I used the paper from Poured Acrylic Paper Pack for the heart. This pattern paper pad has some very cool marble paper.
I hope that you will check it out over my Instagram HERE. While you are at it, do check out the participants work. Let's each do our part and promote love, not hate.
Thank you for stopping by!
