Creative Ways of Combining Stamps (4 Ways!)

Hello friends!  

I am popping in with a quick share about combining two unlikely stamps together.

 

Previously, I made a few stamped background with Enlightened (Penny Black)

I  really love how this background turned out. But I was left with a "now what!?" question in my head. I did used the same background stamp to create....

So..... this time, I paired it with the Companions (aptly named) 

 

You get this result. 

Isn't this cling stamp amazing?

I used Distress Oxide for the background as usual.

 I then stamped the rose outlines at both corners with Versamark.  Thanks to the colorful background, this card took very little time to create.

The sentiment is part of the Thanks & Hello Die.

 This card was colored in color pencils. I have other color pencils and this one is great surprisingly!  The reason that I said "surprisingly" is because the price is so good!  So good that it is too good to be true!

The Sending Love Stamp Set can be used all year round and great for coloring. The colors do blend well, especially if you use Gamsol Blending Solution

 You can see the difference: with blending (the top 4 hearts) and without blending (bottom right pink hart). I love how easy they are for my fingers as they are not strenuous to work with.

2. Featured products: Aqua Pastels Watercolor Crayons from Art Essentials

These crayons are water-soluble and are easy to apply the colors!

The crayons can be blended (see as in the hot air balloons) and un-blended (see the blue/purple streaky background).n

The coloring pencils are wonderful to color with. This bunny is darling! I used the Crayons to color the rainbow border.

"Anything But A Card" Blog Hop and Linky Party + Giveaway

 For this blog hop, I decided to make it practical and keep it simple. I also incorporated a bit of recycle element.  After all, we all have some store paper bags around the house. Why not use it instead of buy gift bags!?

If you look closely, you can see the Banana Republic logo underneath the dotty Washi Tape! I took out the Wildflower Collection and decorated the kart gift bag.

However, with the right paper and creativity, all is transformed!

To make it natural and organic, I added black splatter on the bag.

Soft Coloring with Distress Oxide and More

 Hello friends!

I am sharing a cute and sweet card today. The other day, I felt the need to do some light coloring.

  

This darling stamp "Fur and Feather" from Penny Black has been waiting for me. 

I colored lightly entirely with Distress Oxide. I like the chalky texture from the Oxide. I must admit that I have neglected my Distress Ink ever since the Oxide came to the market!

Since this image is rather detailed and elaborate, I kept the colors soft and pastel. I did, however, emphasize the bright colors of the flowers.

I took out a few Zig Clean Color Markers and colored the tiny flowers directly. This proved to be very effective and easy! 

The bright colors really make this card shine BRIGHT. Thanks for stopping by!
