Hello friends!
I hope that you are doing well. Today's project is about inking up the embossing folders. I am using Rose Bellevue 3D Embossing Folder as an example.
For this embossing folder, I decided to use all of the new Trailblazer ink (linked below).
1. Divide and conquer: decide the area and process to ink up the colors.
2. Mask off the unwanted area: this is easier than you think. All you need is a small piece of paper to cover the area. You can even create your own mask! I didn't use a mask as it is not quite necessary.
3. Add Depth and Colors: this is the time you make great use various inks. The more, the merrier. For the center of the Rose, I used the darkest shades (see the last photo).
4. Finishing Touches: I added metallic threads on both sides of the dry-embossing image. This is a great way to show off the entire design without cover-up.
I hope these simple pointers is helpful to you. You can follow these steps with whatever embossing folders that you may have. Lastly, thank you for using my affiliate links for your crafting purchase. Your action and effort are great encouragement to me. I so appreciate it!
Thanks for stopping by!
