Let's talk about the embossed background first, I started out with a piece of white cardstock. With Gel Plate, I inked up the paper in light shades of blue.
I finally got around to get a new Distress Brayer and found it really easy and efficient with any paper surface.
Since my blog post title is "Use Embossing Folder Your Way", I want to remind you to use your embossing folders however you see fit. With this design, I turned the background into a more neutral setting. This nature-themed design is great for any gender and age.
The paper embellishments from the Monthly Card Kit was perfect for creating an outdoor themed card. My son David is an outdoor-loving guy, I think this card is perfect for him. Thanks for stopping by!
