I am popping in with a quick post about the new stamp set Laugh In Flower.
If you like this stamp set, you must act fast.This stamp set is selling like hot cakes.
I am sure it will be sold out before you know it.
I love the simplicity of one of the flower Queen Anne . I decided to white-emboss it.
The colorful background was inked with Distress Oxide Spray.
Previously, I made this colorful card stock and didn't know what to do with it.....
until I see the potential of "Laugh In Flowers".

What to do when you have a colorful/messy background?
Ding---> try stamping the solid stamps! As my example shown here, the solid stamps and colorful background really compliment each other. You can see the contrast and definition from the stamp.
I am not sure if you can see the details of the white-embossed Queen Anne. I did emboss it multiple times to ensure the color contrast and made it more pronounced.
As for the smaller Dandelion image, I simply stamped them in Vintage Photo.

I love Queen Anne's Lace as well and your card reminds me of how delicate and sweet it looks in the garden. Love the background colors and how it makes the image pop.
Especially love the Queen Anne's Lace white embossed, Virginia - so beautiful with the colorful background!! Bet the Queen Anne's Lace would be pretty in pastel like we used to die it when I was a kid! Did you ever do that - put stems into water with added food coloring? So fun!!

Just love the white embossed Queen Anne's lace against your gorgeous background. What a great idea to use the Vintage photo ink for the dandelions--looks great with the white lacy flower. Love the gold thread accents and the sequins!!
