I am joining the Altenew family to celebrate Altenew's 6th Anniversary Blog Hop. Today is day 2 of this celebration. Instead of canceling this special celebrations, Altenew decided to use this blog hop to spread joy and encourage others to give back/ be there for one another during these challenging times. Here is my celebratory birthday card.
I am using my most recent favorites-Line Art Stamp/Die Bundle and Sunburst Cover Die.
First of all, let's talk about that simple background. With the Sunburst Cover Die, you have these beautiful textured pattern instantly once you ran it through the die cut machine.
Next, I took out my favorite inks and stamped stamping with various shade of red/pink and minty green. I then die cut the pieces and arranged them all over the card stock.
To me, this is most satisfying part of creating a design, that is, you get to use up all the pieces that you lovingly stamped. I am pleasantly surprised that my card has nearly the same color combo with the blog hop banner! The sentiment from Ornamental Bliss has that clean and modern vibe. Perfect with this design.

Wow! You know how much I love your work but this celebratory card is exceptionally beautiful. The colors you chose to work with blend together seamlessly and the layering of the diecuts on the embossed background takes the composition to a whole different level. Also love how the sentiment goes across the width of the card.
