 As mentioned, there are many intricate pieces in this set. However, it is very easy to discern the die and piece them into the right place. I took a bright colour approach this time.

 I love using gray colour for the base/background. This almost guarantees a beautiful result. These are my FAVOURITE card-stock for die-cutting. HERE are the new card stock that are perfect for summer season. Check out the ones for card-making HERE.

 

Here are the two cards with the same dies. I highly recommend that you create at least TWO cards with the same die set. Sometimes the ideas came while you are creating the first card! Also, the more you create, the more inspiration will follow, based on my own experience.

 Here is my first take with this lovely die. There are many intricate pieces in this set. However, it is very easy to discern the die and piece them into the right place.

I love bright and earthy tone …. and this card was much into that direction. Once I picked out the colors, it was very fun to create this cafe. 

  I’d say that working on a project like this, it is a must to have a tweezers like this on hand. It makes the assembly task much more manageable.

                             

Once again, these are my FAVOURITE card-stock for die-cutting projects like this.

The sentiment is from Stamp/Die of the Month. “I’m Here For You” is such a simple and heartfelt message. With the cafe image, this card evokes a sense of comfort and stability.

For my design, I stamped and cut all of the images from the May Stamp/Die subscription. I colored the images with Distress Watercolour Pencils.

I love the ease and control of these watercolour pencils. Also, the familiarity of the Distress Ink names make it effortless to reach for various shades and colors.

I envision that you can use as many or few images as you like and achieve great results. I did use a dark color cardstock for the base. The colours popped even more this way. You can find the Scrapboook.com's cardstock here.  As mentioned in my posts before, I love using these A2 size card-stock.  The varieties and quality of these colour card-stock are of great value.

Add A Special Touch

 I am sharing a card with a special background. Today's post is to remind you the versatility of your background stamps. 

Unfortunately, this background stamp/ kit is no longer available. I am using it purely as an example.  This project was part of an IG hop last summer. Since I love it so much, I'd like to share more here in the blog.

 Let's take a look at the stamp set (with squares)

I stamped it as part of the background and then also stamp it on the back of the glitter paper. I then cut a few squares and added them to the background.  

 

Another option is simply stamp it on a piece of cardstock and then use that is the template to cut out the designs as you see fit.
