Virginia's Die Hard Series (Part 2)

Hello friends!

 It's time to share my 2nd take on my "Die Hard Series"!

Here is Part 1, in case you miss seeing it.

This time, I am using "Frame Cut Dies Paper Layering Daisy with Frame"

Sometimes the easiest design may not be obvious, but it is right in front of you. In this case, I made the simple die cut on white card stock, I took another look and thought:" why not cutting it in half and see what happens....".

I also took the advantage of the bright Bo Bunny Believe pattern paper. The only "fancy" stamping was the multi-colored sentiment. I did it with MISTI, of course.

I hope this gives you some inspiration on using a flower die in multiple ways. I will be back next Friday for another installment of "Die Hard Series".

Simon Says Stamp Release "Among The Stars"

Hello friends!

I am pleased to share my summer project with you today. 

Simon Says Stamp has an AWESOME summer release "Among the Stars".

I am lucky to get a hold of this Plush Ice Cream Cone Wafer Die.

This die is suitable for using paper ,fabric or felt to create with this yummy product. 

I chose felt for my "Ice Cream". 

This card is really fun and easy to create. I am not a sew-er, but I can totally manage this. In order to keep the design focused on the ice cream, I did some simple stamping with the background and sentiment. There is another piece of die for the "syrup/topping", I skipped that and focused just on the ice cream cone. The shiny cherry was topped with a dab of clear Stickles. Yum!

I stamped stripes at the bottom to ground the image and thought it would be a perfect summer birthday card for any gender and age.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge #373

 

Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge !! Thank you for joining us for the Father's Day/For a Guy Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too :-)

Animal Magic

 We are using Paper Smooches products this week. You don't have to use them to join in but if you have some, we love to see them used :-)

I created a fun scene with Paper Smooches Frame 5 Wise Die.  As for the cute animals, I used some older sets (GREAT to stretch those seasonal sets)  "A Magical Spring" to create a fun scene.  

 To brighten the masked stamped images, I used plaid paper to add some colors and patterns. I also stamped the background and sentiment with another seasonal set "Precious Mom". Hope this card makes you SMILE :)
