Simon Says Stamp DieCember Release Blog Hop

I am super excited to share some projects with the new release from Simon Says Stamp DieCember! This yearly event always make me go WOW! This year is also no exception.
 The die designs just keep getting better and better. Sometimes, I am so inspired by the designs and I have always have fun creating with them.

STITCHED WINDOW FRAME Wafer Dies s499 Diecember

My first card is a scene card. I don't create scene cards often, but with the lovely Window Frame Die, I was able to create the scene with Merry and Bright effortlessly.

I started out with die-cutting the window and then did the Inlaid DieCutting.
Basically, you die cut each piece out and then fit the piece back to its place like a puzzle.

Once I did that, I started the mask-stamping with the snowman and tress. 

I had a hard time to find a proper spot for my sentiment. So, I came up with a solution and added a window sign. "Happy Christmas" now looks like it's written on a chalk board! Yes? 😊

 The "snow effect" was created with White Nuvo Drops.

LOOP THE LOOP BORDER Wafer Dies s505 Diecember

from: Simon Says Stamp My 2nd card showcased this funky and lovely Loop The Loop Die.


I stamped the sentiment Merry Christmas in multi colors with the help of MISTI.

I layered two dies and left the colorful one in tact (without taking the negative dies out).

Last but certainly not the least, the following is my favorite from this release!

 This die is absolutely amazing, isn't it?


It is so versatile that I decided to used it on an angle.
I stamped Floral Bliss in Distress Oxide and colored it with Wink of Stella (Clear).



The Tonic Ivory Bouquet pattern paper and the Border Die are perfect together!
I also added a touch of glitter on top with DCWV Glitter Metallic.
The Tonic Nuvo Golden Sunset Crystal Drops are ideal for adding small droplets of golden goodness.

Watercoloring Fun

Happy Saturday!

I did some simple watercoloring with Daniel Smith Watercolor.

At first, I didn't like how my watercoloring turned out....

But after letting it sit for a few day, I guess that it was not as bad as I originally thought.
So, I decided to share after all. LOL

I used DCWV Glitter Metallic (now out of stock) for the BLING part of the design.

 You can now find SSS Glitter Copper paper  that is equivalent to what I used.

And I also used

Crafter's Companion SHADES OF SPRING Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens
to color the Flower Medallion.

I stamped the sentiment from this set in Delicta Copper Ink.
The design is so simple yet still sophisticated, right?
