Here's my extra project featuring Daisy Bed 3D Embossing Folder.

 

All you need to add is a touch of gold. I used Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan set for that Midas Touch.

 

The Slim Sentiment Die was trimmed (omit "so much") and fit the card perfectly.

 Feature products #1: Henna Square Stencil

Whether you use a part of or the entire stencil, you will add some amazing patterns to your projects. If you love a delicate look without tons of effort, this stencil does not disappoint.

 

I started out with a piece of white cardstock. After positioning the stencil, I inked it up with various colors. I then gave it a spray with Iridescent Shimmer Ink Spray.

 

 

Not only does this spray give it a gorgeous shine, but it also tones down the colors a notch. I thought it was a tad too bright at first! 

 

 The sentiment from Paint-A-Flower: Clematis Outline Stamp Set was embossed onto the vellum paper. I topped it off with a butterfly from Mix & Match Mariposa Die Set  and Antique Gold Sequins.

 

 

Feature products #2: Greenwood Flowers Stencil Set with the sentiment from Bouquet of Love Stamp Set.

 

 

Of course, the Altenew Ink Blending Tool makes all the stenciling easy. The colors blend like butter!

 

 

If you have not yet tried color-layering stencils, this new Greenwood Flower Stencil Set will amaze you! It has two large flowers and you can customize your own colors!
 

 

In this card, I used two different colors for each flower. The leaves are so detailed and interesting thanks to the layering.

 

Feature products #3: Charming Mandala 3D Embossing Folder

 

 

I then painted the dry-embossed surface with the Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set (Gold Pearl, Enchanted Gold, Rose Quartz, Aquamarine, and Jade) .

 

 

The thin sentiment strip (Slim Sentiment Die Set) fit in this design perfectly. What do you think? This card is so shiny and effortless.....

 

 

 

 If you have that Metallic Set Metallic Watercolor 14 Pan Set and have not tried it on dark card stock--> you should give it a go!

 

Feature products #4: Dreamy Tile 3D Embossing Folder

 

 

The last card I share is a sweet and a cozy one.

 

 

The Dreamy Tile 3D Embossing Folder reminds me of French country decor. I thought it was perfect to pair it up with Tea For Two Stamp & Die Bundle.
 

 

To add the blue color on the tile, I chose the mini ink cube (such as Deep Blue) and gently touched all of the surface. You can use a piece of hard craft foam for this purpose.
 

 

The tea set was stamped all in the same shades of blue to keep the theme cozy and cohesive. Now that you got a peek at this release, you must check out today's blog hop for more inspiration.

Create that Light and Airy Look

Hello friends!

I am still so in love with the Penny Black background stamp and I can't stop stamping.... 

I have another card with this stamp "Enlightened". 

  

 I picked out my three new and favorite Distress Oxide and inked up each area with various color. These colors are Kitsch Flamingo, Rustic Wilderness and Mustard Seed.

 

 For stamping a large background like this, I suggest that you use a larger piece of cardstock. You CAN always trim it down in size with a die such as Sew Stackers Die Set.

 

 Now that the background was stamped, I deiced to add a piece of Viridescent Die along with the sentiment. The sentiment die turned out to be a good choice as you can hid the glue between the velum and cardstock.

With this design, I was able to show off the gorgeous background. I hope that you like this light and airy look.

Another Take with Build-a-Flower Indian Lotus

Hello friends!

I am popping in with another take of Indian Lotus.

 This Build-a-Flower has some lovely design features. What I love about this set is that it comes with the lovely leaves! I did have a leftover Lotus flower and wanted to use it up (without stamping more leaves!). Please know that I do not pretend to be an expert in card-making.  I share what I do--good and bad (wink!).

I decided to take a "grey approach" with the leaves.  Here I took out some Marsh Land Wide Washi Tape for the bottom of the card.

To bridge the gap of the Washi Tape and Lotus (stamped and die cut), I colored it in grey with Altenew Artist Markers.

These are my two versions with this stamp set.

This is a lovely stamp set. I love the ease of layering and come up with as many flowers as I can.

Get Inky with The Background!

Hello friends!

 

I am delighted to share a fun inky card with you today. I think I have found a new favorite cling stamp.

Introducing Enlightened from Penny Black

As you can see, the cling stamp has some detailed etched design in the background. Those tiny lines and dots make this stamped design a dreamy one.

 I inked up each part with various colors of Distress Oxide Ink.

 It was really fun to see part of the background come to life as I stamped. Once the background was stamped, I stamped one of the images  (from Thriving) and made it the focal point. 

 

The hydrangea was also colored in Distress Oxide Ink. I then mounted onto the Sewing Stackers.

To make the images more defined, I added Faux Stitching around the panel.

Be Bold....and Beautiful!

 Hello friends! 

I am sharing a very bright card. Each element was all leftover from previous projects. 

 Monstera 3D Embossing Folder

They are beautifully die cut, layered and assembled. I deiced to create a very vibrant background to showcase them. 

👉👉When it comes to Embossing Folders, I'd like to think that they are "blank canvas" with prints. They can be completely plain, whit or colored.  It all depends on what you wish to convey in your designs. The use of embossing folders can be soft and subtle or bright and happy...! I can see whey they have made a huge comeback.

For today's card, each element is "loud". In order to make sense of the design, we need a strong background to pull in all the elements.

For the dry-embossed background, I used piece of white card stock and applied ink to the surface of the embossing folder with light minty green. I repeated with each inking (to the embossing folder) a few times. I heavily applied more green with ink-blending tools. 

The flowers and embossed background were inked. I used Gradient card stock for the leaves. How do you like this bold design? After all, it's a celebratory card with bold and happy colors, right?!
