Hello friends!
A stencilled card doesn't have to be flat...
This stencil set is from Hero Studio Layering Stencils of the Month Subscription.
All details are listed here
Today's post will perhaps make your stencilled design rethink how you'd approach them.
These monthly stencils are all designed to fit with the anchored square corners. To make it super easy to line up, you can place each stencil within a stamping platform like MISTI. I even use a pencil to mark the corners for the alignment. It worked! As you can see, the cut out image really pop over the coloured card-stock. That was my point of this post--make the stencilled image POP.
Of course, let's not forget the details of these Hydrangea. Time to get those droplets to work. You can use products like this or this to add that pop of shine and dimensions. You see, stencilled image doesn't have to be white and blah....what do you think?
Hello friends!
I am popping in to share a summer beach project. Over the years, I made at least over a thousand cards (I know, no kidding). One "technique" (or element) that I don't get tired of is "paper-tearing", also know as "torn paper".
For the sea shells pieces, I used my favourite stamping platform MISTI to stamp the various shades and colours. With the size and the design of the hinge, I am most used to MISTI.
Obviously, the stamped diecut images are the focal point. However, the background torn paper provides a dramatic and effective backdrop.
What do you think? Are you liking the effect of torn paper?

Hello friends!
Hope June is treating well. I am loving the warm weather and enjoy seeing the garden flowers in bloom. I am popping in to share a TEXT design.
For stamping, I used Distress Oxide (Antique Linen, Ripe Persimmon and Abandoned Coral).
I die cut the sentiments and used them as focal point. The added dimensions are quite simple and effective.
If you have large sentiment, you may give this look a try. Repeated Stamping for the background is actually rather fun and therapeutic.
Scrapbook. com is offering a FREE Die with $30 purchase.

I love bright and earthy tone …. and this card was much into that direction. Once I picked out the colors, it was very fun to create this cafe.
I’d say that working on a project like this, it is a must to have a tweezers like this on hand. It makes the assembly task much more manageable.Spellbinder's Surprise Bundle may still be available. This bundle offers lot of varieties and value.

Hello friends!
I am sharing a card with a special background. Today's post is to remind you the versatility of your background stamps.
Altenew Project Kit: Chocolate Flowers (Stamp + Die+ Stencil) -out of stock
Let's take a look at the stamp set (with squares)
I stamped it as part of the background and then also stamp it on the back of the glitter paper. I then cut a few squares and added them to the background.
Another option is simply stamp it on a piece of cardstock and then use that is the template to cut out the designs as you see fit.
Last tip: be sure that you have all odd numbers of your elements. I have 7 pieces of squares and 3 sets of flowers. I hope that you find this post informative and helpful. I'd appreciate that you shop your craft supplies via HERE Thanks for stopping by!
