Stamp a Pattern with...Onions!

Hello friends!

Today's post is to challenge you to examine your stamps in a fun and creative way.

I am using Altenew's Farmer's Market as my example.
You can find it over the Altenew shop here.

I appreciate your love and kindness

By stamping with the onions with various shades and colors, I created a cool and colorful background. This truly is a stamper's delight when every element coming together.

Who knew "onions" can look so delicious (other than French Onion Soup and Onion Rings)?

Again, I am using my trusty MISTI to do the job and that included Multi-Color Stamping.

Ding--->When creating a pattern, it is easiest to have a starting point. You can choose it to be on the left or today's card, I chose right in the center (where the 4 onions are pointed to) as my jumping point.

I hope this post prompts you to look into your stamp stash and come up with a fun way is using them for a unique and creative background.

There is a special feature of Vintage Flower stamp set over Altenew (after 9am EST today).

You have such a talent for looking at a stamp set and then doing something right out of the box! I would have never thought of doing this Virginia.

What a surprise, onions, you made a very happy, colorful card from this stamp of a humble onion. Who knew? Great idea, look outside the box for creative uses of stamps.

Now, this is a perfect example of ombre stamping. Love how these onions look on your card...but, now that you mentioned onion soup and onion rings, I'm starving.
