Stamp with DETAILS!

Hello friends!
Hope you are enjoying your Saturday!
Roses are red, violets are blue. Sugar is sweet and so are you.
I first learned about Valentine's Day back in the Taiwan, I was in university. That rhyme has been stuck with me ever since.
Red Blush by Penny Black

I am popping in to share how I used a cling stamp today--perfect for Valentine's Day!
This stamp has a lot of etched details which are perfect for one layer card. I did multiple stamping on the rose, stem and leaves. When I say "Multiple Stamping", that means, I continued to stamp the same area over and over with various colors and emphasis . And of course, I used the trusty MISTI.
I am anxiously waiting for my Creative Corner's arrival and can't wait to try them out.

happy hug day

While the stamp was still in place, I stamped in Versamark ink and clear-embossed it.
Once embossed, I inked up the background with Distress Inks.

I also stamped some text/sentiment  in the background for interest.

I had dental surgery about 10 days ago and am finally feeling back to normal. I still have some discomfort, but the worst (swollen and pain) is over.

This is super gorgeous, Virginia. Your stamping is perfect. Please tell me when you stamped the text background - before or after stamping the rose? Thanks!
