Altenew October 2022 Just Imagine Collection Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in total prizes)

Welcome to Altenew Just Imagine Collection Release Blog Hop! I am super excited to share 4 projects with you. This release  really got me inspired on so many levels. With these awesome stamps and dies, I enjoy coming up with fun and creative ways of using them.  Feature products #1: Cherry Blossoms Stamp Die and Stencil Bundle


 

This card is 100% stamped and die cut. The coordinating stencils and dies really make it easy to apply colors to the blossoms.

 

 

 For the main image, I die cut several pieces including a piece of black diecut. Not only this add heights and it also adds depth/shadow.
 

 

I am pleased with the background colors as I applied mix of coral and brown ink. The additional splatter really elevated the design.

 

  

 

I hand-cut a piece of Glitter Cardstock (Gilded) as it really brought out the colors and added a touch of sparkle!

 

 

Feature products #2: Geo Tiles Cover Die-One, Go Greetings Stamp & Die Bundle

 

The Geo Tile Cover Die is so intricate. You can simply use it as is. Or you can do all sorts of inlaid, stacked die-cutting.

 

I utilized the circle design and added the gold die-cut pieces. This is the easiest way to do inlaid as the shapes are easy to distinguish from the triangular ones. 


 

Feature products #3: Swallowtail Butterfly Die Set, Curtain Leaves Cover Die, Fine Rings Circle Dots Die Set, Bold Sentiment Stamp Set


 

You would not believe the layers of this gorgeous Swallowtail Butterfly Die Set.  If you love butterflies, this is one die that should be on your wish list.

 

 

 Based on the layers of the butterflies, I applied various ink from pink, coral and brown.

 

 

For the background, I used the Fine Rings Circle Dots Die Set as mask and then stamped Curtain Leaves Cover Die. Yes, you can stamp the die with this Circle Cut Stamping Foam.

 

  

 

The Bold Sentiment Stamp Set truly is versatile!  In stead of the usual black, I stamped it in brown to coordinate with the overall color scheme.

   

 

Feature products #4: Outline Thank you Die, Timeless Tulips 3D Embossing Folder


 

This card make look a bit complicated, but it really is not. You only need to add textures with the embossing folder for the background.

 

Die cut two pieces of (Silver and Rose Gold) Metallic Cardstock and start assembling. 

 

Just save every bit of the die cut and you can fit each piece like a puzzle within the black outlines. I hope you are inspired and are full of ideas after seeing today's blog hop. Due to time and space, I will share more in my next post.
