Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Sweet Pea Outline Stamp Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($200 in Total Prizes)

 Hello friends!

It's time to share another exciting Altenew Paint-A-Flower with you.
We are celebrating this month's Paint-A-Flower Sweet Pea with a blog hop!

If you arrive from the blog of Terri Koszler, you are in the right place.
If not, come and join the fun hop for ideas and inspiration.

Let's get right to Paint-A-Flower Sweet Pea.
Altenew-PAF Sweet Pea -Window Slats 3D Embossing Folder-Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set

This image is absolutely detailed and beautiful. You do not need to a colorist to make this image a stand-out. In fact, you can leave it uncolored and it will be absolutely amazing as well.

Altenew-PAF Sweet Pea -Window Slats 3D Embossing Folder-Artists' Watercolor 24 Pan Set -002

I did some simple coloring with shades of purple, starting from the lightest to the darkest.

On the side (literally) note, I added some dry-embossed textures with Window Slats 3D Embossing Folder. I then gold-embossed the sentiment over vellum.

One more thing, you can always count on using Nesting Slim Rectangles Die Set for die-cutting perfect rectangles strips. That's what I did with the vellum strips.

I'm really drawn to watercolor. Yours is beautiful. I've tried and keep trying but think I'm to uptight to do the loose, free coloring.

Such a pretty card, and the coloring is spot on. I love the fluid look of it with the vellum strips.
