Hello friends!
I am popping in to share two cards with one embossing folder. Specifically, I created two cards with one embossing folder at one go.
I was experimenting with Gel Plate and Embossing folder.Since the embossing folder size is larger than A2 card, I ended up using the entire piece for 2 cards.
As I used Gel Plate (linked below) for applying the ink, the inking is soft and subtle.
I highlighted the flower center with foam. This is one of my favorite things to do with embossing folder.
After making the first card, I was left with another half piece. I took out the same ink and stamped Rose Tea on the other side.
I wasn't comfortable with the space in between and decided to use Washi Tape to bridge the two parts.
I think it worked (sort of) because they have the same color scheme.
Now that you see the two side by side, you know what I meant about using one embossing folder and make two cards!
Hope you like this idea and perhaps give yours a try and see what you come up with.

So beautiful Virginia. I'm still trying to work out how you used the Gel plate to colour. However you did it... it looks amazing. And getting two cards for one technique is always a bonus.
Beautiful cards! Always nice to get 2 cards out of one project. Love the washi tape to fill in between stamped image and embossed section.
Gorgeous embossing!
So pretty. Love this idea.
What a gorgeous embossing folder, and those
colours are so light and airy!
Both are so beautifully blended. Gorgeous cards.
Such pretty cards. The washi tape on the second card really was a great choice to join the two parts of the card. Love the color scheme you used!
Very pretty cards!
