 I am sharing my project with Craft Your Life: Silk Art

The large silhouette cluster has a coordinating stencil, so you may add color depth or color variation to the image. The outline images include a floral cluster, a single flower, and five leaf elements. All of these have separate silhouette counterparts which will give a striking look when used together.

 

 

 

This kit is simply stunning. 

I had a hard time to choose which part of the kits to use....so I used nearly all of the kit!

 

 

Let's start with the dry-embossed background.  The 3D Embossing Folder is just amazing. You can see so much depth and details even in white.


 

 I did stamp-layering with the main image. It took me some time to stamp the entire image. I am not sure what got to me.... I decided to cut the image and split it in half! 

 

 

 

I convinced myself that it should look "alright".  And sure enough, once I put the pieces on the dry-embossed cardstock, I did not regret my decision.

 

 

To make an embellishment for the card, I gold-embossed a vellum flower. With the white-embossed sentiment and sequins, this card is complete. What do you think? I hope you like my interpretation.
