Hello friends!
Welcome to another installment "Virginia's Die Hard Series".
Layering Leaves Die by Concord & 9th is the new popular one.
I was lucky to get it as soon as it was available over Simon Says Stamp.
After making 3 cards with this die, I realized this is a good one to be part of my "Die Hard Series". Basically, I use the same die and do a few creative takes on them in the series.
Today, I am using just one die from the set and came up with a super bright design.
I started out with a few die cut and colored them with Distress Crayons. I then did the inlaid die cut with the black card stock. It's like putting the puzzle pieces back to where it belongs. I was also careful not to let the small bits (inside the hearts) falling out since I wanted to show off the bright colors.

What do you think?
This Layering Leaves Die is so detailed, it's easy to make it work! I also shared a sneak peek of my next card over Instagram here. I hope that you come by every Saturday to check out the Die Hard Series.
Lastly, here is what's going on over Simon Says Stamp.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

A great result!
Awesome Virginia. I can see scope for a lot of different techniques.
The colors are so lively and look great against the black background.
Beautiful! Love the pop of colors on the black!
You're getting lots of mileage out of these crayons with wonderful results. So glad they're releasing additional colors. Love that vibrant color against the black...so effective, as is the bold Altenew sentiment.
I really like your use of the crayons as well as the die. I love the way your mind sees lots of possibilities....a real inspiration to all of us.
