Hello friends!
I was happy to get a hold of a few new Penny Black crafting goodies recently. Yesterday I got inky and had some fun with one of the dies. 😀
Need I say more?
This heart die cuts out all the small butteries with the wings popping up. How cool is that? It really does everything for you and requires little else. You can go really light on the colors or like my example today...very very bright.
For the heart die paper, I used my DIY watercolor paper. As usual, I sprayed the TH Distress Paint (see links below) before bedtime and the next morning, I have some gorgeous inky paper! As for that piece of yellow Bo Bunny Believe 6"x6", it was not part of the plan. What happened was I smeared the Delicata Shimmer Black Ink right after I stamped (grrrr)... so, yeah, that yellow paper was a "cover-up"! I actually like it now because the few inky splatter on the paper goes well with my theme! 😁
I love adding drops of white Nuvo Crystal Droplets. They are perfect for adding details. And of course, sequins would not hurt, either! It goes without saying, this card will go to my hubby for Valentine's Day!
I happened to have a photo (taken in St. Thomas, Dec. 27, 2016) to go with it.
