Hello friends!
warning: photo-heavy post
It's my turn to share multiple projects with you over Altenew Card Blog.
I am excited to share three projects that I created with "Dots and Boxes Stamp Set". At first glance, this stamp set may not look too impressive. After all, they are just dots and boxes! However, I beg to differ and am asking you to take a closer look at this amazing background stamp.
Let's get started with a bright floral card. I stamped the "You Are Beautiful Stamp & Die Bundle" with the new ink: Nature Wonders Crisp Oval Set and Martian Terrain Crisp Oval Set. And boy, the colors are absolutely exquisite.
To add a touch of elegance, simply emboss "Dots and Boxes" with Rose Gold Embossing Crisp Powder on Vellum Translucent Paper.
As you can see, this DIY overlay will work beautifully with any floral images. The "happy birthday" sentiment from Essential Strips Sentiment Die makes this a lovely birthday card.
The Warm and Cozy Enamel Dots compliments the Dots and Boxes perfectly.
Next up, I applied Pure White Embossing Powder to Dots & Boxes. This time, I highlighted the background with the new blue ink. I find adding Gradient Effect is the key to make the images pop. The Emboss Resist Technique never gets old.
I took out the Rounded Rectangle Die Set and cut out the center. For the subtle dimensions, two more pieces of dies were added.
I then stamped the "Warm Blessings" and adhered the die cut penguins ( stamped in Obsidian Pigment Ink).
Since I have a piece of extra card stock with the Ornamental Feature 3D Embossing Folder, I positioned the Layered Gift Tag -Cake Die Set over the card stock and made the die cue. You can see the subtle textures on the cake! Isn't that cool?
Instead of using the cake die set as a tag, I popped the smallest floral images from Watercolor Garden Layering Dies over the cake.
To top it off, I added Silver Metallic Thread and one enamel dot for the "icing on the cake"!
I hope my 3 examples make you see the incredible possibilities that Dots and Boxes has to offer. You can absolutely use this stamp set to personalize your style and designs.
If you can stop by over Altenew Card Blog, that will be awesome! I'd love to hear from you there!

Thank you for featuring this stamp. I would have seen it differently if you have not created different cards using this stamp set. I got more ideas for this stamp set. I will add this to my wish list. Thank you for sharing!

I especially love the embossed dots! Pretty cards!
Clearly, I have to go shopping. I love this as a background or for touches of color and interest. You, however, are showcasing it beautifully in every way.
I love your imagination, Virginia, and how you stretch a stamp set. These are wonderful cards!
