Hello friends!
Hope this post finds you well. What a year we had in 2020!?
It started out very promising... and then pandemic came around
Feb/March here in North America. Like everyone, I did not travel and
stay at home all of the time. It prompted to examine my yard and nearby
neighborhood with fresh eyes! I discovered a few trails and scenic
streets. I also got to know my neighbors way better than ever before
thanks to our Santa display and local Food Bank fund-raising. I am
grateful that my family of 5 are able to be together during the
Christmas holiday.
As always, I look to things that makes me happy and that is, stamping/card-making. I had a prolific year!(My Instagram stats: 2907 followers, 352 posts, 44,384 likes and 5708 comments)!
Without further ado, here are my top 10 favorite cards of 2020 (counting down to my favorite!)
All stamps/dies are affiliate-linked at the end of this post.
Card #10: a simple card idea can go so far and tuck your heart string!
Card #9: Each element of a card matters. This card has many!
Card #8 : an organic and colorful approach is always welcome.
Card #7: it's always good to try something new: wax seal!
Card #6: I am pleasantly surprised how beautiful this color combo is!
Card #5: let the embossing folder speak for itself.
Card #4: ink-blending +gradient=golden
Card #3: alcohol-inked card can be simple and yet impactful!
Card #2: using multiple and yet similar elements is a good thing.
Card #1: never underestimate simple elements. When they are this good, use LOTS of them!
I am thankful that I am still here-content and happy creating. I hope the new year brings us hope and new life! I am happy to report that I have donated over 300 cards to local retirement home and raised money for our Food Bank. So, my card-making does have some kind of super power after all.
Dear readers/followers, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your awesome feedback and support! You have always made me a better card-making blogger!
Wish you a very happy and healthy 2021! Cheers!
