Altenew Educators "Alphabet Name Game" Blog Hop and Linky Party + Giveaway

 Hello friends!

I am delighted to join the Altenew Educators for a one-of-a-kind blog hop. It is always fun to try something unique and different. This time, our theme of the hop is "Alphabet Name Game.

Alphabet Name Game: Use the first letter of your name, pick a theme/technique...and CREATE!

For details, please check out Altenew Card Blog for the fun hop for ideas and inspiration.

Since my name starts with V, I went with....VELLUM. I know, it's not very original, but I can't think of anything outside vellum. And vellum happens to be one of my favorite paper to use!

I white-embossed the rose image from Rose Tea Stamp Set. One of my favorite things is to add colors from the backside of the vellum. this doesn't get old....and yet it is so fun and easy.

I used Artist Markers for the coloring and fussy cut the image. The rest? I used Mix & Match Frame Die.  I LOVE this die and highly recommend it. This is my first time using the lined die in this set and the details really make the focal point a stand-out.

I kept the rest of the design simple and stamped the sentiment from Birds of the Woods.

Lucky for you your name starts with a V because you've used that vellum beautifully. Always love a floral with a bit of graphic design and this card presses all the right buttons.

I was wondering what you would use for V as I couldn't think of anything. You used it nicely and reminded me that I need to use that more!
