Masking Over Dry-Embossing + Winner Annoucement

As promised, I am back for another project from the Altenew Summer Love Embossing Folder release. This collection is packed with all sorts of wonderful designs from floral to geometric.

This project features Tiled Chevron Embossing Folder. This embossing folder almost functions like a de-bossed cover die, but much cheaper! It does not cut, however, it leaves a very textured background.

As it is still nearly flat on surface, I thought it would be easy to add colors with simple masking.

You can simply use Masking Tape,  thin paper (that will not bleed through), low-tack Washi Tape as mask and ink-blend the colors.

I then adhered the Rose Queen Die Set (in green) to the dry-embossed image.

 I thought it would look cool to stamp over the dry-embossed surface with Bold Sentiment Stamp Set. What do you think? I hope you like the inspiration from this card.
