Hello friends!
As promised yesterday, I am sharing another creation from this month's Altenew Super Subscription. This month's Craft-a-flower Garden Rose is definitely drop dead gorgeous! If you have not commented on yesterday's blog hop post, click HERE.
I love the large shaped petals in this set. The petals are perfect for (watercolor) coloring, inking or.... spraying.
I decided to spray ink by using THIS over the petals. Some rose petals have spots and some have the color pigment diluted with water.
This resulted some unexpected effect. On top of that, I created an alcohol-inked background.
This card may appear WET to you, but it is totally dry. It looks amazing with the vellum alcohol paper. If you like to find out more about the alcohol ink background, I have a step-by-step tutorial on July 17th (mark your calendar).
What do you think? This card looks kind of artsy, but it was so fun and easy to create. Sometimes I wish my You Tube video skills are better.... I apologize that I stopped making videos. One must never give up, right? The following is my creation with the Craft Your Life Always Sunshine.
Thanks for stopping by!
