Dawn, I applied the white stencil paste (around the edges) without mixing up the Distress Inks! The (paste) color lightens a bit and I really like that.
Oh dear. I see you're putting your embossing paste to work at it's best advantage. Love the subtle color variation. This stencil is awesome...and, can we talk about the butterfly??? Adding your gold thread to it creates a sense of movement. What a terrific trick. You know, of course, I'm going to steal...er...CASE it.
Your card is heavenly, Virginia. I am amazed at the 'tone' you created. Lovely use of color and the butterfly is wonderful.
