Hello friends!
I have something fun to share today.
Red Star (Penny Black)
Now take a look at this stamp, you would likely make a card like this?

(see my previous post about this card here)
After my first card, I must say I see "potentials" of this stamp....
so I got inky and created a very vibrant card.
My Light Bulb moment
Stamp-postioning tool such as MISTI is a game-changer.
Ding----> Use PART of the stamp to create something different. Instead of using the entire stamp, I used part of it around the edges. Take a good look at your stash, I bet you can come up with something new and different.

Now with the " new kid on the block"....Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, it proves to be vital to use these type of tools to create this kind of design.
I used Zig Markers for this application (re-inking each time and stamping in various colors).
You might ask...how many Zig Markers should one have?
That all depends on your budget and obviously,.... the more, the merrier.
With that said, I think for a starter set like set of 12 Markers or 24 Markers is ideal.
Also, notice that I altered the positioning of the sentiment? No worries, no stamp surgery was performed during this change. This one layer fills me with delight as I create! A stamp like Red Star is more versatile than it looks!

Both of your cards are lovely! And ALL the Zigs is the right answer. Well, at least the first 60 brush and first 60 of the other style. :D
So lovely; thank you for sharing some of your thinking as you create such masterpieces. You are such an inspiration! Thank you, Virginia!
Oh my, your 'take' on a poinsettia is remarkable. Actually it is brilliant. Who said poinsettias are only red?
Love all that yellow...and the way you've created that border. It is the perfect frame for that lovely script sentiment.
Your vibrant yellows, reds, and greens make a wonderful, cheery card. Yes, I'm inspired!
Love the old fashioned look of your poinsettia! These are lovely!
Loving the bright colors in this one, just gorgeous!
Beautiful colors and design!
Great design and choice of colors.
