One Layer Christmas Card

Hello friends!
First of all, I just want to pass on a special celebration over Simon Says Stamp.
Details are at the end of this post.
I know it's still early, but Christmas  cards sighting are on the rise.
Therefore, I am joining the "trend". 😉
Red Star by Penny Black

Today's card is all about repeated Multi-color stamping with MISTI.
You can use ZIG Markers for this technique.
In the past, I love using Spectrum Aqua Markers for this purpose and I still do.

However, with this stamp, I decided to try Distress Oxide this time.

Season's Greetings

I am trying to keep the design and colors simple, so there were no sequins added (gasp!).

Season's Greetings-001

However, I just had to add something old-fashioned to the poinsettia--Stickles (gold)
Season's Greetings

I am keeping this post short and sweet.

Penny Black has some really awesome Fall/Winter release, check it out here.

Thanks so much for sharing this. This is so gorgeous in every way. I just this last week acquired this stamp set and planned to make some cards for Christmas with it. I am very inspired now so as soon as the garden lets up a bit I will be using that image and sentiment.
