Hello friends!
I have done Stencil Sundays Series in the past.
Since summer is here, I am taking blogging a tad slower.
Hopefully, with the Stencil Sunday, you can still find joy and inspiration in my less -frequent posts.

Welcome to Week One 's Stencil Sunday!
This week, I am featuring

Mega Hydrangea Stencil
from: ALTENEW
This stencil has very fine detailed outlines. I love that it can be used as a background along with part of a stamped design. I decided to create a colorful background with multiple colors.
Thanks to the large open space of the hydrangea, the ink-blending was super easy. Once I did that, I took out the die from Winter Roses Stamp/Die Bundle and made the die cut.

Winter Rose Stamp & Die Bundle
I then stamped the images in darkest brown and then stacked two underneath.
This helps the stamped image to pop up and also gives a fine finish.
I don't usually use these colors (especially purple) together.
However, I love how this striking color combo turned out.
Altenew has a wide selections of stencils, you can find them here.

Virginia! Fabulous ideas for Sunday's. I look forward to visiting each Sunday. The is a beautiful new Altenew stencil. Love how you colored the background (purple is my favorite color) and your focus point is dark (brown) and to the point. Offsetting the panel on the card is a great look as well! Lovely!
Have a great summer and I love the bright background, perfect for the summer.
Good for you............deciding to go slower on your blog this summer. I am finding stencils very refreshing and creative....for me this is a big deal! I really like the colors you've used--soft and lovely. Brilliant idea to use a dark color on your stamp. A lovely, striking card!
Overstamping that gorgeous background...wow!, you're so brave. It looks amazing with those roses cut into it. And the added bonus is that it is almost flat but still has dimension.
This is so pretty Virginia, you have inspired me to break out my stencils! (I don't have a lot of them but I have enough to play with!)
Just gorgeous background!!
So pretty. I like these colors together.
