Magnolia Heart Stamp/Die

Hello friends!

I have enjoyed playing with the latest Altenew release so much that I can't stop posting more...
I find it relaxing to dream about the card designs.
With a small heart stamp and die, life is truly sweet!

I bet you may have similar heart stamp/die in your stash and can think of many creative designs.

Ding--->have you tried folding hearts like this? Simply use a ruler or a bone folder and score it in the middle. You can also do "Faux Stitching" if you don't have the time for hand-stitching.
Not only this creates a handmade feel, it also adds interest and originality to your design.
It has been a while since I did some REAL stitching (other than sewing up hubby's buttons), so that's what I did.

This card is truly self-explanatory.
I did, however, use  both parts of the Creative Edges: Lace Die at the top and bottom.

The sentiment comes from Stained Glass Window Set which is another awesome set.
If you love Stain Glass Window Stamp, you must come back!
I will share another project with this stamp set in my next post.

I'm terrible at judging scale so I'm delighted that you used the Magnolia Heart. Gives me a great idea of the size. Love it when you hand stitch with those perfectly sized stitches. Wonderful dimension it adds to this sweet card.

So sweet and the stitching adds a nice touch to all the other textures. Love it, Virginia. My internet wifi is so irregular in the rv park that I can't upload much so will have to wait to join your sharing spot until later.

Very pretty with the hearts and stitching and I like how you used both parts of the lace die.

"Sew" sweet Virginia! I don't have any stamps with floral designs on them but I do have small floral stamps and heart dies, so I could STILL do this. A great spark of inspiration here. TFS this.

I love the Creative Edges die (have it) but never would have thought of using the other piece. What a great idea. The hand stitching adds a nice touch as does the folding of the hearts. I will have to try that too.
