Thanking Our Grocery Heroes

Hello friends!
As you know that we all recently have gone and are still going through the pandemic crisis in the last few months. It has been stressful at times during the quarantine time. During this challenging time, we were still able to get our essential groceries and health care.
Needless to say, our everyday workers are now our HEROES.

About the stamp: Celebrate the heroes of today with this special bundle dedicated to the front line essential workers who are there to keep society functioning and strong.
Grocery Heroes: Grocery workers are there to help us put food on the table and prioritize our essential needs. Let's support them and show them we care! This set includes images of grocery bags, a shopping cart, cashier counter, and special sentiments dedicated to honoring grocery heroes.

I am so pleased and proud that Altenew is aware of the need in showing our gratitude towards our everyday workers. Today  I am sharing my take with the "Grocery Heroes".
Altenew-Grocery Heroes-#1

There are SO many grocery heroes in all of the grocery stores!  I realize that this is the set that we should mass produce. I then set out to do a simpler designs.

Altenew-Grocery Heroes-#3

To show off the rows of grocery, I used Gelli Plate (all products listed below) to add a few shades of light brown and then stamped the images.  I have now grown to love using Gelli Plate to add that artsy and funky color background. It really is not intimidating to use a Gelli Plate any more.

Altenew-Grocery Heroes-#2

I love the use of Rainbow Gradient Washi Tape because it really brings out the colors instantly. Since I didn't have much coloring in this one, I needed these lovely gradient rainbow colors!
Altenew-Grocery Heroes-#4

Of course, to simulate the grocery cart, I did Silver Antique Embossing. It is most fitting, right?
I am EXCITED to give these out to my local grocery store! I bet they will happily surprised!

Altenew offers 45% Off BAF Flourishing Zinnia.
I love this flower and it is listed below for your convenience.

Thanks for stopping by!

What a superb set of cards . Would love those stamps as my son in law is a grocery worker and,at times, has had to work overtime as he has worked all through. He has had some, awful times with customers waiting outside and feels under appreciated. I cannot get this stamp set in England and cannot afford to add the postage from Altenew. Such a shame.
It cheers me up though to think that some folks are thanking the staff.
Thank you for sharing

Darling set of cards, Virginia! So great to appreciate the grocery workers - a friend wipes down grocery carts and works a cash register; she would love this card! Just love how you stamped on the grocery bags and your silver cart (would love if they looked this shiny in real life) looks amazing!!
