Hello friends!
I hope this post finds you well. I finally got a chance to ink up the Layered Wood Die Set.
This set of stand-alone die set is part of the recent Fresh Start release from Altenew. It is very easy to assemble. If you are a beginner with layering dies, this is a great starter!
I decided to ink up each layer with inks (listed at the end of this post).
I also added layer of die for the lacy background. The thinner part of the Swirl Motif Die was used here.
It is always enjoyable to assemble card like this. There's not a lot of stamping involved, but it is another way to be free and creative with the inks.
I was not careful when I applied Perfect Pearl Poppy to the flower and got on the leaves. I didn't dust if off before taking photos. Oh well, you get the idea. It's hand-made, right? 😁
Thanks for stopping by!

I LOVE the layered flower! GORGEOUS CARD!!!!
My computer is showing this flower as a peachy/pink and it is so lovely with the grey foliage. The swirly diecut is just the right touck to show off that blossom.
I LOVE that coral color with the gray - fabulous!!!
What a beautiful card! Love the new colors you used. They look so pretty with the gray and white. You can never have enough Perfect Pearls on a card, in my opinion.
