Hello friends!
I am excited to start a mini series on Versatile Vases in my blog. All products used are highlighted in bold and linked at the end of this post.
In the past, I had made many projects with Versatile Vases 1. Now Altenew has released Versatile Vases 2, I think it's time to start this feature again. I hope that you will enjoy checking out the various ways of using these stamps, dies and stencils. And perhaps you will be inspired and create your own versions of vase projects!
Today is the debut of this series. I started out with stamping and die cutting the vases with Enjoy The Ride Paper Pad. This is my favorite paper collection. The colors and designs are simply fabulous.
The paper offers pops of colors and saves me time to work on the details of the vases. I took out "Just Leaves Dies and did some die-cutting as well. To make the vase arrangement more realistic, I cut a small slit at the opening of the vases and inserted the leaves. Just Leaves Die Set comes with so many shapes and sizes of dies. They can be easily used as part of the floral arrangement with the vases. More to come!
Lastly, I did the Partial Dry-embossing with Ornamental 3D Embossing Folder. You can dry-embossing the piece and cut it out to use as your "table top cloth". I thought it looks neat as one layer on the card.
This resulted a very clean and simple look on the card. I hope that you are enjoying this post and will come back for more ideas and inspiration.
edited: Altenew is all out of BACK IN STOCK with the Versatile Vases 2. Simon Says Stamp has them in stock, but with limited quantity.
Thank you for stopping by!

I LOVE the dry embossing you did as a "table"
I love this, it's so pretty. Like
1/2 embossing detail, it adds an
extra touch!
At first look, I thought it was a flower in the vase. Nice share for the set and added details.
What a beautiful card! The embossing on the table looks like a vintage doily--so pretty! Love this card and look forward to the rest in your new Versatile Vase series.
LOVE the clean lines of your card and the bold image. You know how I love dry embossing.
Beautiful cards, love the vases and textured backgrounds.
