Hello friends!
What to do with small and intricate dies? That was the question that I asked myself when I saw this die.
Wildwood from Winter Wishes Penny Black)
I am sharing a card with tons of repeated die-cut pieces. You see, this die set is super intricate and rather dainty. I decided to let the dies speak volumes.
I meant it when I say volumes.... I die cut all the pieces 3 times with my DYI watercolor paper.
My DIY paper is consist of Distress Oxide Spray ( Feathered Peacock, Speckled Egg, Sea Glass and Fossilized Amber). I also left one of the negative piece stay in place and used it as the base piece.
The fun and messy part was to add the white splatter (to simulate snowflake) all over the card. I am slightly rusty with this Ranger Brand Ink Splatter Brush. However, it is really handy to have when you are in need of tiny and even droplets.

Just love how you layered those intricate dies, Virginia - so striking in those colors too!!
Just beautiful Virginia. Great layered dies.
This is really pretty! Love all the layers!
I LOVE the layers and the little birds!
This card is a pure delight...love those colors together and those sweet birds. I can almost hear them chirping while they build their nest.
Love this happy TWEET scene!
I like the layered idea. Nice way to add color.
I am in love with your card using the Wildwood die! I love the color choices, the tiny birds, the way you used the base piece for a place to anchor the "twiggy" pieces, and the wonderful splatter!
What a clever use of these dies and I love the color combo!!!
so gorgeous!!
