Hello friends!
The title says it all.... The large die can just make the design! I have another example of using The Spellbinders Be Bold Collection
Be Bold Color Block Happy Birthday Etched Dies is part of the Be Bold Color Block Collection. The set of two thin metal dies cuts a big and bold BIRTHDAY and a playful font word, happy. Designer Tip: cut a piece of cardstock slightly smaller than 8.50 x 3.50 in. to create a base to build card front. Perfect in creating a slimline card format.
Remember this card I made previously?
So, what happens to the leftover pieces? Well, easy!! You can just use them all over again and make another!
This time, I used GOLD as the main focus, I then filled up the space with colorful negative dies.
I did have a few leftover bits that weren't to my liking, so I die cut some more. Instead of die-cutting the entire piece, I positioned the paper to the exact spot that I wanted and ran it thought the Platinum 6.
Since the colors are so happy and cheery, you can't go wrong really. I used white card-stock for the "happy" die cut and it fits so well!
Here are the two cards side by side--similar and yet different.
As I mentioned, if you love the simplicity of these type of designs and love putting pieces like a puzzle..... the Be Bold collection should be on your want/wish list!

What an amazing card Virginia. Love all the bright colours.
I really enjoy the ideas for creating multiple cards from the left over parts.
This one is terrific as the first one. Great birthday card.
Great die set! Love the cards!
Love the second card as well. Can’t have too much gold for me!
Great idea to use the leftovers to make another card.
