Masking With Stripey Background

 Hello friends!

I am sharing a stamped project with stripey background. It is always a delight to incorporate two stamp set in one design.

This Graceful Blooms is part of the May release from Spellbinders. I paired it up with the stripey background from Simple Stripes Stamp Set (also part of the May release).

Stamping an image like this seems complex. However, with a few simple steps, you will really enjoy the masking process.

As usual, I started with stamping the main floral image. I then cut a mask and carefully covered it.

I then stamped the Simple Strips over. The coloring are done with ink-smooshing respectively.

I used Distress Oxide for the coloring and stamping.

With the Spellbinders Glitter Foam Sheets, sequins and gold thread, I popped up the sentiment. This was a really fun and relaxing card to make.

hanks for stopping by!
