I have an interesting post to share. Cover dies are fun and useful. The price of cover dies can be a bit more since it can be used independently and they are with great versatility.
This time, I am using cover dies examples to convey the value of using a cover die. The following project is my 2nd version with Trendy Pattern Cover Die
For the floral design, I stamped and die cue one of the flowers from Floral Medley Stamp set

With the Holographic paper from Scrapbook. com, I am able to add pieces to the inlaid die cutting.
The wonderful thing about the Trendy Pattern Cover Die is that die cut pieces are all uniform and you can place any piece into the negative part of the die (like I did with today's card and my last one).
From my first take, you can see that I did not waste any pieces. Here I saved the tiny squares and fit them right into the slots. AND you do not need to fit every piece into it.
