I am popping in with a clean and simple One Layer.
To me, creating one layer card is the best way to learn stamping.
This card may not look like much, but it does take some planning. I used the 4 cubes of ink that came with the July 2016 Card Kit. Since the kit is all sold out, I have listed the alternative inks/colors (see links at the end of this post).
I decided to create a one layer and make it as symmetrical as I can. Ok,....not the sentiment, one/two small flowers and the little dots...otherwise, it is as symmetrical as it can be.
Why symmetry, you might ask?

Lovely. I agree that one layer stamping is the best way to learn. I'd add reading blogs, trying techniques--this one is treacherous because we all think 'that looks so easy' when it's really way beyond our ability--also learning color combos. I think the best is blogs that encourage us to try.
Your stamping is outstanding, as usual. The symmetry does, in fact, look pleasing to the eye but off setting the sentiment captures ones attention beautifully. The soft colors make this peaceful and soothing. Just lovely.
