I am popping in with a quick post about my Fall creation. The leaves in my background and neighborhood inspire me tremendously.
This is the most beautiful season in my part of Canada.
I still remember the first time I saw maple leaves...
Back in 1984, I just came to Canada for my graduate studies. I couldn't not get over the bright colored leaves. Since I am originally from Taiwan, it is a rare sight to see the changing of colors in leaves!
I had so a ton of inky fun in applying the distress inks to the stenciled background. I went overboard on the gold embossing and I even added a piece of gold foil....As for the sentiment, I did partial gold-embossing. Not sure if I like it, but I will leave it as it is.

Your trees are the most beautiful I've seen. I'm originally from Illinois and miss the leaves changing colors. . I don't think I've ever seen the pastel leaves in real life. I love how you have blended so many different colors in the leaves on your card. The gold embossing is very pretty.

I love your gorgeous leaf design and that is a wonderful sentiment as well. I like that it is a big bold one. Works so well with your colorful background and adding the music notes was a nice touch too!
