Add Watercoloring to an Intricate Die

Hello friends!
I have been DIE-ing to play with the Lawn Fawn Little Town Die.

s

I finally made something and am sharing it with you today.
A die like this is full of potential. I put my own spin and just had fun with it.

With my extensive traveling in the past, I have seen many, many rows of colorful houses.

From Bergen (Norway)

to Santorini (Greece)
I was inspired to create my own colorful houses.

thank you

If you look carefully, I actually added an extra piece white diecut houses underneath the watercolored houses. I find that this gives the houses some subtle dimensions and it still remains to be flat.

I love that effect. You can use any type of coloring medium. I happen to love the Spectrum Aqua Markers because I have all of the colors I want. The coloring is minimum, but the impact from the this intricate die is huge!

I hope you love house cards like this because I am just getting started :)
There is a sale over Simon Says stamp, you can check it out here.
If you love a good floral set, you should look into this one.
Thanks for stopping by!

What a sweet and friendly card. Love these dies that offer so much inspiration all by themselves. Would not have thought of coloring them this way, but it's so effective and pretty.
