Another Take with "Birds Amidst The Holly"

 Hello friends!
I had received some awesome comments from my previous card. Thank you!
If you miss seeing this card, just click on the Flickr photo and it will take you to my blog post.

Today I want to show you how I "reversed" the design elements and created another card with the exact same supplies.

s
Again, I started off by creating a colorful background by misting spray inks onto the Bristol paper. I then stamped the images from Birds and Blooms to create a simple background.

a Wish for you-001

Since the die cut pieces are so intricate and color-intense, the simple background seems to be the perfect backdrop for it.

There is something amazing about these sprayed ink colors--so intense and vibrant. a Wish for you

It really is worth saving the extra sprayed DIY color paper as you can plainly see :)

I stopped by to shop with your SSS link, and I see this BEAUTY!!! I love the vibrancy of the colors and how you added sparkle to this gorgeous card! I also love the elegant font on the sentiment, and how you stamped behind the holly die cuts...so pretty, Virginia!
