Stamp a Landscape

Hello friends!

I am popping in with a post about stamping a landscape.
It may sound daunting to create a scenic place, but with the right stamp, it is really not that hard.
I decided to use two of the images from this stamp set and created a scene.

I saw it on Simon Says Stamp

Penny Black Clear Stamp LOVE AND PEACE 30-453

With the help of MISTI, I was able to do Selective Stamping and built up the scene.

I stamped the trees first with Zig Markers.

season of love and peace

I then stamped the Snowy Village on the left.

season of love and peace-001

Once all the images were clear-embossed, I was able to color the background by sponging Distress Ink.

How fun! I ordered the Snowy Village stamp set during the Black Friday sales and it arrived yesterday. Woot!
Thanks for the tip about heat-embossing in clear before adding the background.
