Working with An Intricate Die

Hello friends!

you are my home #2

I love the ornate details from this Spellbinders Die and I know I would love to create with it.

Spellbinders has really awesome sale here, great deals here.
I recently signed up to purchase Grand Caliber as the first time buyer and got an extra 15% off
(see here). FREE US shipping with orders over $75.

Since the Lavender Swag die is so detailed, I only needed to add colors to it.
I used a combination of Zig Clean Brush Markers and Zig Gansai Tambi Silver to color the swag.

In my design, I want to create a elegant, rustic and lovely feel....much like the French country side.
Not sure if you noticed the sprayed mist in Mint color, I used We R Memory Keepers AirBrush Tool.  I love the price of this tool (only $14.99) and it does the job just fine.

Only 2 Left!

We R Memory Keepers MARKER AIRBRUSH Tool 660081

(you must hurry if you are getting this tool)
One note though, this Airbrush Tool holds only the smaller size markers (like Zig Marker, Distress Markers...). I only wish the opening is large enough for Copics and Altenew Artist Markers.
Like I said, you can't beat the price.

I love the glitter strip from DCWV. It really "ties up" nicely with the DMC Gold String.
You can also purchase this die from Simon Says Stamp

I remember when Spellbinders was at the forefront of the papercrafting world with all their die collections! I still use so many of them quite often. This new die looks lovely, Virginia, on your beautiful card.

You've accomplished your goal in creating an elegant, rustic card that does, indeed, remind me of travels through the countryside in France, a country I've been blessed to visit on two occasions. The die is lovely with its intricate detail! Thank you for the showcase...I'm going to check out a few of those links you've shared!

This card is so beautiful! The coloring is beyond gorgeous. I love everything to do with the lavender plant so especially like the die. I grow lavender and also make hand embroidered silk ribbon sachets which are filled with lavender. ( not my own yet!).

You definitely achieved you goal. It is reminiscent of lavender fields in Provence...I can almost smell that heavenly scent. Just a beautiful card and that touch of copper is the perfect embellishment.
