I don't know about you, but I find creating one layer cards are oh....so. satisfying.
This time, I am using as my main image.

Here is my latest addition.
This one layer card does involve a few elements and techniques.
1. color-laying: with the leaves and flower, this actually was easy. The stamp set has it all covered.
2. die-cutting: you may not see the matching dies were used in this, BUT I used the matching dies for the next step
3. masking: without masking, I could not have done the stenciling
4. stencil: color blending the grey area seems like a good idea. You can never have too much gradient
5. coloring: you may not see the coloring, but I did add med-gray shading with Artist Markers.
6. embossing: there is something about the embossing just makes the cards go WOW.

It comes with a water brush pen in a self-contained case!
I am traveling with this set currently. Love love it!

The light gray stripes with the variegated flower are just perfect together. I wish I had some of your masking skills! Love the Tea Party ink set.
As you are aware, I'm a sucker for stripes with florals so this one layer card makes my heart pitty-pat, loudly. And the grey is the ideal counterpoint for that vibrant camellia. So very lovely.

Wonderful, entire card is so well put together, i 've the soft stripes that let the flower take centre stage, so soft , delicate & realistic, thank you.
Beautiful OLC, such a layered look it fools the eye! Love the soft gray stripes as background to your pretty flowers.
