Altenew December 2018 Markers/Embellishments Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

 Hello friends!
Welcome to Altenew Markers/Embellishments Release Blog Hop from Altenew!
I am super excited to share 2 projects with you.
If you arrive from the blog of Zsoka Marko , you are in the right place!

All the details about this blog hop, please visit Altenew's Card Blog and Scrapbook Blog.

The first projects features new Artist Markers.

As you may see that this new Artist Marker Set E has multiple shades of orange and it was really fun to color the back of this piece silver-embossed "Handpicked Bouquet".

Altenew-ArtistMarkers-SetE-HandpickedBouquet-Virginia#1

This entire cut piece is so delicate! In fact, it requires little to make the vellum piece a stand-out.

All you need to do is color the backside of the rose and leaves with the new Artist Markers!
To compliment such an intricate focal point, I applied Gentleman's Gray with Flowing Butterfly Stencil.

The small piece of rectangle ( sentiment ) was inked sprayed with Orange Cream Ink Spray.
It was embellished with sequins and that's it! Delicate yet so easy!

My 2nd card showcased the new new Butterfly Embellishments.

Altenew-AcetateDieCutButterfly-Virginia#1

I colored the Sweetest Peas with Artist Markers.

Altenew-AcetateDieCutButterfly-Virginia#2

The small wood hearts, enamel dots, pattern paper and the butterfly overlay/embellishments worked beautifully with the stamped images. The sentiment from Watercolor Dots was white-embossed.

If you love the style of Altenew, you will love these new embellishments!
Each piece is carefully crafted and designed.

Your cards are lovely. I read the description of the coloring on the backside of vellum, but did you stamp and heat emboss on the front? What did you use for that...Versamark, or one of Altenews inks? I also like the neutral colored butterflies behind the flowers. The sweet peas are...SWEET! Thanks for sharing

Martha, I did stamp and emboss on the front of the vellum. I used the Altenew Emboss Ink for the silver-embossing. Hope this helps.

The sentiment describes your card--it is fabulous. The new marker colors look so beautiful with the silver embossing and even though placed on the reverse side of the vellum are very vibrant. The butterfllies in gray are a great addition.

I'm super excited about set E of the artists' markers, which is funny because usually orange and yellow-greens aren't my thing, but I just really love these sets of Altenew colors. And a good grey can do so much for creating drop shadows that this is a really great set for me. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cards. The vellum one is a total knockout.

Chandhini said...

I'm excited thinking about the enamel dots ... I have a collection of sheets dotted with odd colours I rarely use, can't wait to stock up on my go-to colours!
