Yay, it's A Year in Review Blog Hop from Altenew!
What a year it has been...
Creatively, I am truly blessed to be part of the Altenew Card DT.
With the new and innovative Altenew products, I find myself pushing my creativity to the limit (in the good way!). It is always very exciting to try out new products. I hope 2019 is going to be an amazing year for creativity!
I am super excited to share my most favorite 2018 projects with you.

As I am looking forward to the New Year, I want to share a NEW creation with you in today's post.
Over the holiday, I was in need of a masculine thank-you card, so I created one with World Map.
You can never have too many masculine thank-you cards, right?
I stamped the dotty map image over the white card stock. With the stamp still in position in my MISTI, I clear-embossed the green dots... and then went back to ink up some yellow and soft pink.
This is where you call it "Emboss Resist".
I felt the ocean was a looking a bit blah....
I added water droplets and lift off some of the water drops.
You then got some muddy water effect. I thought the ocean looks kind of neat this way!!?
World Map provides the perfect images for this all occasion cards.
Over the holiday, I have donated over 100 cards! What a a great feeling! I am all set for 2019!

They are so beautiful. If I have to chose just one, I chose the handpicked bouquet. Just the name indicates that it was chosen as a special gift for the receiver.

My favorite is #4 Starry Flowers -what a beauty! I learn so much from following your blog and appreciate your curiosity in using new techniques.

It’s hard to choose one favorite from all of these. Floral cards are always my favorite and I love the layout of card number 4, so that’s my number one. I’d like to say though, that your world masculine card is really awesome!
Starry Flowers is my fav. I have the stamps so I love seeing ideas on how to use them. Thank you.

You're right, we all need more masculine sets & your World Map card is a great one. My favorites are still the Starry Flowers cards you highlighted. Something about those frilly little flowers just makes me smile!
I don't know which one I would pick as my favorite! I really love the top right corner of the #AltenewBest2018 photo. The beautiful colors and that little string tied at the top. It is just perfect!

The Hanpicked Bouquet card is one of my all time favorite cards since I have been following you our blog. I love to click on your email in the mornings to see what you have created for your followers. I enjoy reading your carefully written step by step directions and the explanation of why you did whatg you did in a particular instance.

I have two favorites...the lower left corner of your collage, there's just something about stripes and florals that draw my eyes...and, that map is absolutely fabulous...perfect for a guy or gal.

All of these cards are so beautiful! I love the one with the map (and by the way, love that stamp set, too, great for a little traveller like me), and the Christmas one (no 9) definitely stands out to me too - it's such a unique and beautiful & striking design! Looking back through stuff we made in the past months or even years is a great exercise, and I love doing it - be that to see the progress I've made, or simply to look for some inspiration when the mojo is missing :-)

My absolute favorite card is the holiday bow set card!!! I saw this card and immediately found out where to buy it. I made cards for my mom to give to her friends. This was by far my favorite holiday set for the year. I love the style of your cards and they are all beautiful.

You are such a prolific creator, I don't know how you managed to narrow down your choices. I really enjoy your style; you always give me such good ideas for how to add that extra something to make my cards sing. Of your favorites, I was really drawn to the cherry blossom tree. I thought for sure that you had put dimensional something on the flowers, but nope, just the awesome stamp set! Thanks for a great year of inspiration.

I'm definitely liking the new card. I think the ocean looks great! As for my favorite in this post? It's a toss-up between 1 and 6. I love the partial die cutting and soft colors of 1 and stepped background in 6. All are lovely though.

Hands down, my favorite product of 2018 was Altenew's washi tapes. I've had so much fun playing with them and putting them on any and everything!
All of your projects inspire and awe me in some way Virginia lol. Out of your Top 10 pics the one I love the most is BAF Larkspur-Artist Markers. I love the Larkspur set and purple is my fav color so it wins hands down. I would be too hard pressed to pick a favorite project or products from you or Altenew - so, so many to choose from over the course of 2018 :) I look forward to what 2019 brings and I know the inspiration will be off the charts no matter what the products are. Thanks for continuing to blog and for always being so kind and sharing your talent, Happy 2019!
