Simon Says Stamp New Release "Blossoms and Butterflies"

Hello friends!
I am popping in with a post about the new release from Simon Says Stamp.

This release will definitely make you think spring, feel Spring and LOVE Spring!
I have the fortune to play with one of the new products (thanks, Simon!).

The Dahlia Frame Die is absolutely lovely!
I am thinking of you
There are so many ways of using this die. I decided to do a straightforward way to create.
That is, work on each area separately.

For me, I will do the "divide and conquer"!
For the frame and dahlia, I silver-embossed the image multiple times.
The sentiment is from Messages for Everyday Stamp Set. Love the sayings and varieties!

I am thinking of you today

The die will cut off all the bits and pieces (including the petals and background bits).
This is another plus because you can work on each small section at a time.

I used Distress Oxide for the flowers, leaves and background. The ink-blending works so beautifully together. Once I have all the pieces, I put them back like a puzzle. This is the so-called Inlaid Die Cutting.
I am thinking of you

I hope that you like what I created. Of course, I have a few more ways of using this die.
Please say tuned for the next edition. It is totally different from today's card!

You can see all the latest over Simon Says Stamp here.
(Shop early for best selection. They will sell out!)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

The silver embossing, paper piecing, and delicate background remind me of a delicate stained glass piece. It is truly beautiful!

I ordered three of the new dies a few days ago and can't wait to get them. You have WAY MORE patience than I do to have put all of those little pieces back into the flower. It's really a lovely card!
