Altenew September 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello friends!
Warning: heavy photo post

Yay, it's September Release Blog Hop from Altenew!
I am super excited to share 4 projects with you.
If you arrive from the talented Therese Calvird's blog, you are in the right place!

All the details about this blog hop, please visit Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog
I can't wait to show you what I created because the release is amazing!

Feature stamp #1:  Circle Quilt Cover Die.
Firstly, let's get cozy with the Circle Quilt Cover Die.
This cover die can cut through all those pieces obviously. BUT....

Altenew-CircleQuiltCoverDie-Virginia#1
... I decided to dry-emboss the cover die and created the quilt-like effect.

Altenew-CircleQuiltCoverDie-Virginia#3

You can use pattern paper for the dry-embossing. Here I created my own color paper and I kept the colors soft to evoke a cozy feeling. I am not sure if I succeeded, but I really loved the textured aspect.

Feature stamp #2:   Birch Impressionism and Modern Poinsettia
This card feature two new sets. The Birch Impressions is awesome for the background and comes with coordinating stamp/die Bundle. The Modern Poinsettia is well....simply exquisite!

Altenew-BirchImpressionismStampSet-ModernPoinsettiaStampSet-Virginia#2
I love the modern font for the sentiment.

As you can see the shine on the Birch Tree background. I applied a very small amount of Zig Chisel Tip Glue Pen and applied the Ranger Shiny Transfer Foil Sheet over it. This left a shine from the foil and it is just the right touch!

The Modern Poinsettia was white-embossed over the DIY paper (created with Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set). I fussy cut the poinsettia out and popped it over the center with foam tape.

Feature stamp #3: "Happy Pomegranates"
The hand-drawn images and simple sentiments, this lovely set of pomegranates has a great deal of possibilities! ANY media is perfect for this: coloring, embossing, ink-blending....etc.
Altenew-HappyPomegranatesStampSet-Virginia#1

The gold-embossed images are perfect for the rich colors.

Altenew-HappyPomegranatesStampSet-Virginia#3
This card is complete with the splatter and vellum sentiment.

Altenew-HappyPomegranatesStampSet-Virginia#4

I love how rich and gorgeous really celebrate the Fall and Thanksgiving.

Feature stamp #4: Festive Foliage
Altenew-FestiveFoliageStampSet-Virginia#1

I absolutely love how the stamp and ink "speak". Altenew-FestiveFoliageStampSet-Virginia#3

Since "Festive Foliage" was so easy to stamp, I created another version.
I silver-embossed the heart in this one to add some shine and subtle texture.
Altenew-FestiveFoliageStampSet-Virginia#4

I highly recommend this stamp Festive Foliage, especially if you want to stamp multiples as a card set and give them as gift. OR simply mass produce the design for your office/co-workers.

What a release! Lots of interesting products to play with and add to my craft necessities. I believe I don't have a fruit stamp set in my collection. The Pomegranate stamp set has the potential to be my first.

My. my...you've been busy. So many holiday cards to add to your pile, done. And what amazing cards they are. Love the cozy textured card and the lovely silver foil accents on that fabulous poinsettia card. The glow of the colors and embossing on the pomegranite card is luscuous. And those tree cards are really going to be appreciated by the recipients. Wow! I'm out of breath.

We are leaving for our cruise to Alaska tomorrow Virginia & I've grabbed every spare (& non-spare) minute I have to complete this blog hop as your name is 2nd from the bottom & I HAD to see what you've come up with. Well! I'm impressed! Each one is lovely & I have to confess the Happy Pomegranate card & the Birch Impression card are my very favourites. Each of the stamp sets are on my wishlist which is far too large to ever hope of being able to afford them, but, it doesn't hurt to dream.
