It's that time of the year...
All month long, Simon Says Stamp is release new stamps and dies that they collaborated with various companies. This truly is a n awesome stamping event!

I was lucky to receive one stamp set to play and it arrived just in time for the party today!
If you love scene stamp, this "Spooky Silhouette" might make you go EEK!
As usual, I reached for my trusty Distress Oxide and started stamping.
First, I inked up the background with Stormy Sky and Broken China ,namely, the outer circle of the stamp.
For the ground, I stamped it with Ground Espresso and the spooky house in Black Soot.
Once I did all that stamping, I clear-embossed the image. Next is the fun part...
Emboss Resist. I applied ink with 2 shades of yellow (Mustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade) for the window. For the background, they were Victorian Velvet, Wilted Violet,

For a little bit of extra "something", I splatter a few droplets of water. In my view, this makes the image more organic and less contrived. The sentiment was created with Rounded Alphabet.
