How To Stamp with Zig Clean Markers

Hello friends!
Today's card is a delightful one to share because it is 100% stamped.
I am using this new-to-me Penny Black Vintage Post Card
(edited: only 3 left over Scrapbook.com)

I had SO much fun stamping this card.
happy birthday

To start, I stamped the Lovely Lily  (edited: all sold out ) first.
I find it easier to incorporate a larger background stamp if I stamp the focal point first.

I actually used just a few Zig Markers to stamped the Lilac.
If you are new to Zig Clean Markers, you may like to know how I used them to stamp.

I am breaking the steps down to the following:

1. ink up the stamp with the tip and side of the markers: at this point, you may not see the ink on stamp. No worries, just leave it once you are sure that the stamp is inked up.

2. spray one or two or three spritz of water. Obviously, the more you spray, the more loose water-coloring effect you will get.

3. Be sure to leave your stamp inside your MISTI while stamping. You can ink, stamp and spritz until you are satisfied with the result.

If I had unlimited budget, I'd get all of the colors like this one!
However, This 12 Color Set is sufficient for starters.
Once I was happy with the Lilacs, I adjusted my MISTI and stamped the Penny Black Vintage Post Card.

Beautiful card! I really enjoy your blog! I have the original postcard stamp from Penny Black from way back when. I use it all the time!

What a beautiful card. The colors you used are lovely. Using the Zig pens that way adds a soft, dreamy look to your card. I never think of using the Zigs that way! Will have to try it.

Love the look of the combination. The postcard stamp is on my wishlist. Great tip to stamp the flowers first.
