Same Die, Two Ways and A Light-Bulb Moment

Hello friends!

I am sharing TWO projects with the same die today.

I am using the die that is part of the Spellbinders Card Kit.
lovely
For my first  card, I utilize the negative and positive part of the dies.
The pattern paper was also part of the Monthly Card Kit.
I have an easy job to decide what shades and pattern to use.
lovely

The "hard part" was to stamp those fainted butterflies in the background.

The next card may look pretty simple. However, the added height for the focal point really kicks the design up a little notch, in my view. I absolutely adore that pattern paper from the monthly kit.

Ding---> if you have pattern paper that you absolutely love, then consider stacked die-cutting for added dimensions! You can use a simple shape die, floral pattern or sentiment, alphabet... etc.

What better way to showcase the paper? The butterflies and kitten embellishments come with the monthly card kit. So, no extra work was involved.

Also, don't be afraid to stamp on pattern paper for extra interest.
Noticed the two little butterflies in the shape die?  It seems that the kitty love it! 😉😊

Your first card has the perfect sentiment as it is truly a lovely card! The butterfly focal point is perfect atop the coordinating diecuts.
